A couple of years ago, Realme devices came with Oppo’s ColorOS skin pre-installed, however, with Android 10, the company announced that it would be offering its own skin dubbed Realme UI.

While the skin is still based on ColorOS, the company has tweaked just about every aspect of the user interface to bring it closer to that of stock Android.

Realme started seeding the Android 10 update with its Realme UI 1.0 skin early last year to eligible devices such as the Realme 3 Pro, Realme XT, and Realme X2 Pro.

In September, last year, we reported that the company has begun testing Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 for the Realme C2 — the only device left to get the update.

Realme failed to share any specific details about the availability of the stable update for the device. And thus, users have been in the dark about when to expect the wider rollout.

Finally, Realme C2 users can rejoice since it appears that the stable update has started rolling out to users.

Some individuals have confirmed receiving the update on the company’s community forums (1, 2, 3, 4). The update is available as version C.53 which also carries the January security patch.

The update weighs around 2.1 GB for those with devices running on Android 9 Pie and 164 MB for those who we previously testing Realme UI 1.0 on the Realme C2.

At the time of writing this article, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the release of Android 10 for all Realme C2 users.

It’s likely that the update is rolling out in a staggered manner and thus it might take a few hours or even a couple of days before you get the update.

With Android 10 now being released for the last remaining device, Realme can shift all its focus to the rollout of Android 11 with its updated Realme UI 2.0 skin.

Having said that, head here to know all about the new Android 11-based skin from Realme UI and its status for all eligible devices.
