Samsung started seeding the stable One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for its devices in December 2020 starting the Galaxy S20 lineup.

At present, the South Korean giant has already released its new skin to a handful of devices including the S20 FE, Galaxy Note 20 series, and the Galaxy S10 Lite.

Furthermore, Samsung has also opened up the beta program to its mid-range phones — Galaxy M31 in India and Galaxy A51 5G in Korea.

The new skin over Android 11 brings a ton of new features and improvements over the previous One UI 2.5 skin that first debuted with the Galaxy Note 20 series.

But it seems that many Samsung users who installed One UI 3.0 on their devices reportedly noticed that the battery usage history was no longer showing up in the settings.

It’s unclear what caused the issue and affected users can only see the estimated time remaining while other information and stats are not available.

Some users discovered a workaround to the problem which involves clearing the Samsung Device Health Manager Service application’s data. We’ve listed the steps below in order to do so:

Samsung One UI 3.0 no battery usage history workaround:

– Go to Settings and select Apps
– Tap on the three-dots icon on the right and select ‘Show system apps’
– Select ‘Samsung Device Health Manager Service’
– Tap on ‘Storage’ and then tap on ‘Clear data’

While this isn’t a permanent fix, it’s the only way to get the feature working once again until Samsung fixes the issue, which it will soon, since the problem has been acknowledged.

Responding to a Galaxy A51 5G user’s complaint regarding the missing battery usage stats after installing the One UI 3.0 beta, the Community Manager on the company’s Korean community forum said the following:

The development team will check and modify it and distribute it to the Google Play Store.

Therefore, users can expect to receive a fix for the issue soon via the Google Play Store itself and won’t have to wait for Samsung to seed a system update in order to fix the problem.

Of course, we will continue to keep an eye on all developments regarding the missing battery usage history on Samsung phones running One UI 3.0 and will post an update once new details emerge.
