The changelog of the Realme 7 update version A.71 outlines that some knwon issues have been fixed and touch control experience and algorithm have been optimized.

This means that the update should have addressed the ghost touch/screen flickering problem but it seems that several users are still facing the said issue.

While it is unclear what is causing this issue, the latest Realme 7 update has also not fully addressed the problem.

Also, the OEM has not provided much clarity on the matter apart from the latest AskMadhav session whereas the growing number of user reports demand a wider response.

Users have even taken to other online platforms like Twitter to report the persistent issue but a proper response is still awaited.

However, a possible workaround has been found by a user which involves switching off the Super nighttime standby mode.

It seems that doing so is indeed working for several users as they have reported that the aforementioned workaround solved the ghost touch issue.

Hopefully, the OEM provides a permanent fix to this problem as Realme 7 users have been waiting for the same for quite some time now.
