Realme has begun the rollout drive of Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) for eligible devices. The developer team at Realme camp is making sure the update brings a smooth UI experience.

Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth, often shares a two-way communication with the users by engaging in various fan-centric activities, among them AskMadhav.

AskMadhav YouTube episodic series has been gaining hype in the community. Madhav, through this channel, takes up frequently asked questions and addresses them, sometimes even dropping some cool hints.

A new episode has aired where Madhav is seen answering queries related to Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) updates, bugs, upcoming AIoT launches, and more such exciting stuff.

Realme 7 Pro recently invited Alpha testers for the Realme UI 2.0 update. This was followed by an Early Access opening where 300 spots were available. A big chunk of Realme 7 Pro users who missed the opportunity to update are now eagerly waiting for the next opening.

Madhav, in the latest AskMadhav episode, has ensured that an Open Beta program for the device will definitely follow soon. While the developers are preparing a stable version of it, left out users can watch out for the Open Beta invites.

In addition to this, Madhav has also announced that Realme UI 2.0 Early Access and Open Beta program will expand to all eligible devices.

Responding to a feature request, Sheth has stated that manual video recording, a highly sought out feature, is also in the works.

Realme is also considering the possibility of pushing it to existing devices with an OTA, provided they have the hardware configuration to support it.

While responding to an ongoing issue of screen flickering and ghost touches that’s troubling a big chunk of Realme 7 users, Madhav has assured affected users that devs are constantly working to come up with a permanent fix.

An update with version number A.71 has already been pushed and is expected to resolve the issue. But in case the issue still persists, users can submit their feedback.

Realme Watch launched earlier this year was promised to receive 100 new watch faces via an OTA update. And it looks like users will have to wait for a few more months to finally get those watch faces, says Madhav.

Updates weren’t the only thing highlighted in this episode. Questions ranging from Realme Watch S series to more AIoT product launches were also answered.
