Poco unveils Fan Connect series to address future software update support for Poco devices & other issues

Poco has raised itself to become a brand that users trust. Be it the specification sheet or pushing regular updates, Poco has managed to impress a major chunk.

A while ago, Poco came up with an interactive initiative called AMA (Ask Me Anything) to better engage with device users. The aim was to address user queries with, of course, some hints at future roadmaps.

Several queries regarding three years of Android OS Updates, call recording, Poco Launcher, and much more were addressed through a recent AMA.

Now that the brand is finally independent and is exploring ways to excel in new avenues, ‘Fan-connect’ comes as a new channel for better communication between users and the Poco team.

Poco recently took to Twitter to announce the new series, Fan-connect with team Poco. The company already closed the invitation for the first episode, but generally, interested users have to go through a basic Google form and get themselves registered before the event.

The first interaction focused solely on Poco X3 related queries. But after looking at the jolly responses from both, Poco’s official Twitter handle and the company’s country (India) director, it can be inferred that new episodes with more devices are also on cards.

The idea is to welcome user suggestions and queries with regard to device updates, future support, and much more. This opens up a window for users to get to know what’s cooking in Poco’s software development offices.

The series will have one device at a time so the big Poco user base will have to wait for their devices’ turns. But considering the success of Poco AMA, an even better organization and smoother conduct can be expected this time around.

It’s time you take out your notebooks and start jotting down the questions you need answers to. Now that the OEM is operating with autonomy, it would be exciting to see how Poco’s new story with software updates and future support unfolds.

We are yet to explore the meeting transcripts and the topics that were discussed. It is still unclear whether Poco has plans to broadcast this on social media channels or not.

Nevertheless, Poco’s decision to hold bilateral social engagements seems to be a step in the right direction.
