Poco Community forum (website) mobile view is a total mess

Poco, in the midst of the Indian Government’s restrictions on the Mi community, has finally built a dedicated Poco Community for its users.

Angus, the company executive, recently took to Twitter to tease users about an upcoming website of the Poco Community. Later that week, the Poco Community officially went live.

With this, Poco aims at providing their growing user base a platform to socialize, stay up to date with the recent developments, and get their queries resolved.

But after surfing through the newly launched website, the experience does not seem to impress anyone at all.

Many Poco users have shared screenshots on the official announcement post on Twitter that clearly reflect the poor state of the mobile view of the Poco Community website.

Poco’s official Twitter handle, responding to a user query, said that an app is also in the works. But the disappointing bit here is that the available Poco Community website’s mobile view is a total mess. It’s ironic for a smartphone brand to not have a stable mobile view version in place.

The forum is indeed unusable and every time we have to change the browser settings to the desktop view. Even worse is that despite user complaints on the tweet and multiple others in the old forum, all have gone unheard.

In fact, mods in the old community are directing Poco users to the new Poco Community but it makes little sense as there isn’t much activity or even usability at this moment.

Now that a big chunk of Poco users has started populating the new Poco Community, it really becomes important that Poco starts paying heed to these complaints and develop a mobile-friendly website.

Poco, right since the launch of Poco F1, has had a huge user base and this only seems to grow after Poco’s new roadmap as an independent entity. So, in order to accommodate multiple users, a stable and responsive community web/Android app is what’s required.

Well, the forum is still new and a lot of fixing is yet to be done. It’d be good if Poco acknowledges these issues and get their developers working on it as early as possible.
